Albany Youth Support Association (AYSA) operates five programs from Young House which can provide support to young people aged 15 to 25 years. AYSA is a non government not for profit organisation with an eight member board of management made up of agency and community representatives. The Board is responsible for overseeing the day to day management of the Association and its programs. The agency employs a number of staff across all programs, most of whom are youth workers.

AYSA opened Young House, Albany's youth refuge, in May 1986. The refuge also has external transitional housing managed by the Great Southern Community Housing Association for Young House clients. This is known as the SHOT program which provides support to young people to assist them to maintain successful tenancies and build economic independence.

Albany Youth Outreach is a detached outreach program providing support to young people at risk of crisis. This program meets with young people in their space, providing links with other agencies and services, and assistance to young people and their families.

Open Access is a youth arts studio for young people aged 14 to 25 years experiencing hardship. AYO provides the youth work component of this program, while the arts activities are provided by community artists in different mediums.

Harmony is a family mediation project for young people aged 15 to 25 years and their families. This is a free service available 10 hours per week with a trained professional.

Albany Youth Support Association has won the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry Community Business Award on three occasions, in 2001, 2005 and 2007.
